My name is Laʻakea ʻO Kauaʻi Aikau, and I was born and raised on Kauaʻi in Kīlauea. From a young age, I’ve been deeply connected to music, art, and live events—the energy, emotion, and atmosphere they create have always inspired me.
I graduated from Kamehameha Schools Kapālama in 2018 and went on to earn my degree in Audio Engineering from Honolulu Community College. After completing my studies, I spent two years working in hotel conferences, live events, and professional venues in San Diego, California, gaining hands-on experience in high-level production environments.
After returning home to Kauaʻi, I founded Aikau Audio with a simple goal: to provide clean, intentional sound and lighting that elevates every event while staying true to the place we call home.
Whether it’s a wedding, private event, or conference, Aikau Audio focuses on clarity, professionalism, and creating an atmosphere that feels effortless and unforgettable.
